Crowned is a place to run a sports pool with your people — the office, the group chat, the family thread — without a spreadsheet, a commissioner who forgets, or anyone handling money. You make picks, Crowned keeps score, and the standings settle who gets to talk.
How it works
1
Host signs in
Hosts get a one-time email link. No passwords, nothing to remember.
2
Create a pool
Pick a game type, a league, and which weeks count. Crowned handles the schedule.
3
Share one link
Players join from the invite link with just a display name. No account, no app to install.
4
Pick before kickoff
Every pick locks when its game starts. Change your mind as often as you like before then.
5
Watch the standings
Scores update as games finish and the standings recompute on every visit. Gloat accordingly.
The games
Available now for Pro Football and College Football. Confidence and squares pools are on the way.
Survivor
Pick one team to win each week — lose once and you're out.
Each week, pick exactly one team to win its game. Picking a team in a different game moves your pick — you only ever have one per week.
You can change your pick freely until the game you picked kicks off. Then it's locked.
If your team wins, you survive to next week. If it loses — or you never submit a pick — you're eliminated.
Each team can only be used once per season, so spend the favorites wisely.
Some weeks include a team playing twice — the season's opening weekend is one. Your pick is still tied to one game, so choose which one.
Last entry standing wins.
Pick'em
Pick a winner in every game — most correct picks wins.
Every week, pick the winner of each game on the slate. Each game is its own pick.
Each pick locks at that game's kickoff; you can change it any time before then.
One point per correct pick. A game you skip simply scores nothing.
Standings rank total correct picks across the pool's weeks.
Fair play, by design
No money, ever. Crowned never takes entry fees, holds a pot, or pays anything out. It tracks standings. Anything else is between you and your group, and Crowned stays out of it.
Picks lock at kickoff. Lock times come from the official schedule, so nobody can slip a pick in after a game starts.
Names and colors only. Crowned isn’t affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any league or team. Team names and colors appear only to identify real-world games. You won’t find a logo anywhere.
Who makes it
Crowned is built by NeuralForge, a small independent studio. It’s currently in alpha: features land often, rough edges remain, and feedback is welcome. Free pools support a small group; paid options for bigger groups are coming, and those pay for software, not for prizes.
